Robert Rose Capital (“RRC”) is a private investment firm with a mission to build strong companies by leading with intention. RRC makes control investments in companies seeking an ownership succession or with strong leadership teams interested in recapitalizing the business to accelerate it’s growth trajectory.
Our investment strategy is to employ a buy-and-build approach with companies in fragmented industries with significant tailwinds. RRC believes through diligent discipline, companies can achieve transformational growth by utilizing an appropriate capital structure and financial discipline, deploying a playbook focused on operational excellence, and harnessing the power of data and technology to accelerate change.

Winston Blake
Founder & Managing Partner
Winston Blake is the Founder and Managing Partner of Robert Rose Capital LLC. Winston is a seasoned investment professional with over 20 years of experience, operating in various investment roles within financial services, as a lender/investor at a large financial service company to an operating executive of a boutique asset management firm.
He started his career in commercial banking at JP Morgan Chase and operated in various roles while focusing on delivering value to lower middle market companies across different industries. Subsequent to his time in the commercial bank, Winston joined Chase Capital Corporation helping to deploy junior capital and equity across the JP Morgan Chase Middle Market platform. Working closely with business owners, Chase Capital partnered with companies to help execute strategic investments to facilitate growth opportunities within their businesses. .
Most recently, Winston served as President of Attucks Asset Management, a $4.0 billion asset management firm managing multi-manager portfolios for large institutional investors. Winston’s responsibilities spanned financial management and budgeting, strategic initiatives, portfolio management, marketing and business development and firm leadership. In 2020, Winston led the acquisition of one of Attucks’ competitors, which doubled the firm’s assets under management, expanded the firm’s investment strategy capabilities and diversified the investment team.
Winston graduated from Northwestern University with a B.S. in Communication Studies and an M.B.A. from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University with a focus in Finance and Entrepreneurship.
